There are lots of ways that everyone can support the Westport DTC and help our candidates. Campaign contributions are always appreciated but there are many ways to help beyond money.
-- Make phone calls: Westport Democratic headquarters is going to be at Playhouse Square - 275 Post Road East in the former space for The Silver Ribbon. Begining September 18th, you can volunteer to make calls evenings 6-8:30 PM. If you are interested please contact Dora Stuttman at 203-227-6762 or dstutta@optonline.net. -- Canvas Door to Door: Contact your favorite candidate and find out about canvassing drives. It’s a great way to learn about your community, meet neighbors and help the cause.
-- Write Letters: Thoughtful letters to the local newspapers and blogs in support of our candidates are helpful.
-- Yard Signs/Bumper stickers: Can be obtained from each campaign and the Westport DTC Office when it opens. Pick up a sign and post on your lawn. Put a sticker on your bumper and show your support -
-- Word of Mouth: Getting up to speed on the issues and our candidates positions and talking to your neighbors informing and encouraging them to vote – is extremely helpful.
