Danielle is a current Planning & Zoning Commissioner and chairs the P&Z’s Affordable Housing Subcommittee. Danielle began her career as a staff assistant in the office of US Senator Bob Graham (D-Florida). Following her graduation from Georgetown Law, Danielle joined the Real Estate Group of Skadden, Arps, a New York law firm. She left Skadden to found Monarch Real Estate, LLC, where she serves as Chief Executive Officer with a focus on residential and multifamily real estate investment. Danielle has also served as a contributing writer to Forbes Magazine online and has provided guest commentary on MSNBC. Danielle is an active member of the PTA and currently serves as co-chair of the ArtSmart program at the Greens Farms School. Her past roles include serving on the Coleytown Elementary School’s fundraising committee, acting as “room mom”, leading classroom ArtSmart teams, chairing Bingo Night and serving on the Temple Israel Preschool Committee. She has been a frequent volunteer at the Gillespie Center. Danielle has served multiple roles as an active supporter of the Mwiko School, a primary school serving over 700 children in rural Rwanda and directed the Mentoring Mwiko library development initiative there, with the administrative assistance of Mothering Across Continents. She and her husband Chris support many charities and Danielle has been a member of the Leadership Circle for Women for Women International, a Lion of Judah and received “Angel” Designation as a Soldier’s Angel supporting our armed forces. She has served on the Allocations Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and in the LA Federation’s Young Leadership Development Institute. Danielle and her husband Chris have two boys, James entering 7th grade at Bedford Middle School and Jonathan, entering 4th grade at the Greens Farms School and are also parents to one adorable Cavalier King Charles puppy named David Beckham.
